Nevertheless, Sandaime Hokage is able to outsmart this jutsu. He uses Kage Bunshin to seal 3 targets simultaneously at almost the same time.
Actually, if Sandaime's chakra was sufficient then, he might be able to take Orochimaru's life completely. But because his stamina was not like when young first, coupled with a stab wound from the Kusanagi Sword, Sandaime can only take Orochimaru's hand alone.
